How to Use MarkovML’s AI Workflow Builder

On the MarkovML platform, there are 2 ways to build an AI workflow:

  • Using a pre-configured template, and
  •  Building from scratch.

Let’s explore each of these methods:

Build an AI workflow from a template

Let’s say you want to build a workflow that validates email addresses, gets more details about the leads, and writes cold emails. Here’s how to execute this:

Step 1: Navigate to Automations

Once you are signed in to the MarkovML platform, navigate to the Automations page from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Open the visual AI workflow builder

Click on “Build an Automation”, and select a template. The popup box shows several templates that you can scroll through and choose.

For this example, let’s consider the template “Lead Nurturing Analysis from Email Addresses”.

Select the template, and click on ‘Use this template’.

Step 3: Explore the workflow builder

You are now on the workflow builder page, which shows the selected template on the canvas. On the left, you can find a list of other operations to integrate into your workflow.

Step 4: Build your workflow

From the list of operations on the left, just click on the desired operation, or drag-and-drop it onto the canvas. Use the search bar to find the desired operation.

Step 5: Complete your workflow

Once you have the desired operations in place, connect them to the existing blocks and finalize your flow. Click each block to further configure the operation.

Step 6: Your workflow is ready!

Once your workflow is built and error-free, just click on ‘Run’ to execute it. You can also ‘Lock’ the workflow to prevent changes by other users, ‘Schedule’ it for periodic or future runs, or even ‘Clone’ it to make a new workflow.

Build an AI workflow from scratch

Once you get the hang of building a workflow using the templates, it is just as easy to build on from scratch.
In the ‘Build New Automation’ popup screen, select ‘Use blank canvas’ to open the AI workflow builder.

This time, the builder interface is empty–a free canvas for you to build on.
Just explore the operations on the left, build the sequence of operations, and configure each block, just as you did with the template.
